About Nicole
Nicole uses a systems perspective to look at how family patterns and childhood experiences shape present behavior. She helps people notice repeating emotional and behavioral patterns and understand how those patterns formed. From there she works with clients to build more helpful ways of thinking and acting.
Her training includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Counseling: Clinical Mental Health. Nicole has worked with people affected by trauma and with adults who have caused harm to others. She brings that experience into clear, grounded work in sessions.
In therapy she draws on client-centered methods, cognitive behavioral ideas, emotionally-focused techniques, existential questions, and Imago relationship concepts. Sessions are tailored to each person’s goals and life situation. Nicole helps clients set small, achievable steps and track progress over time.
She encourages people to take the first step toward feeling better and offers steady support through the change process. If someone wants to address depression, cope with loss, or reduce anxiety, Nicole focuses on realistic strategies and steady guidance.
